How might creating my own Personal Learning Network make a difference in my life and in the lives of others?
I’ve been looking for ways to improve my blogging skills so the 31 Day Challenge thanks to Sue’s latest post is definitely what I need at this time to become a confident, connected 21st century thinker and learner while creating and developing my PLN . Synchronicity also has it that I read prior to signing up 31 Days to Build a Better Blog Project by Darren Rowse which is connected to Steve Dembo’s 30 Days to Being a Better Blogger .
In my attempt to start the year off with a bang I ’stumbled upon’ Chris Brogan’s blog that suggests the idea of setting three words as goals for 2009. So, as I dive into unknown waters, my three words as goals for the 31 Day Challenge are:
1. Empower – know and believe that all new learning is possible
2. Inspire – share the love of learning (and ‘tidbits’) with others
3. Celebrate – validate the success and sustain the learning
Day 1 Task: E-mail a New Reader
As I wait to become an added participant to the 31 Day Challenge, I rearranged posts so that my PLN entries appear now on my home page. Unfortunately th e posts (to be found on the Tour of Duty, 2009 page) had 2 comments attached now state 404 – not found – through copying and pasting L .
The good news is that I was able to e-mail both readers back. So, I can say thank you
Allanahk (Canada) – good luck on your one year venture and Lois (Australia) -I look forward to further connections with you and students of Berwick Lodge Primary this year:)
NB: I am a new reader and commenter of blogs so it’s such a buzz to know that like-minded people are actually out there, keen to inspire and share as well. Thanks for dropping by:)

Welcome to the 31 Day Project. Have to admit is really exciting seeing a group forming together to work through it. It definitely increases the learning and helps make connections.
Can you tell me what name you would like me to use for your page on the wiki? Also can I get you to go to the wiki and ask to join?

Hi Jeanette,
Looking forward to blogging with you over the next 31 days or so.
I’m about to fall asleep here, so it’s off to bed.

I really like your goals too. These are very helpful in helping me think more about clarifying the objectives of my own blog. Thanks.
